Mercy Aigbe absent at the Court Hearing against her husband Lanre Gentry

It is the second time Mercy Aigbe will be failing to show up for her court hearing on the ongoing legal battle against her embattled husband, Lanre Gentry which is supposed to take place at the Ogba Magistrate court.



Lanre Gentry is currently facing charges for domestic violence ranging from beating to inflicting injuries on his wife, Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, an act which is contrary to provisions of Protection Against Domestic Violence and Connected Purposes Law of Lagos State 2007.

During the court hearing, the actress was to tender the medical report for her claims of domestic violence, while Gentry was to show the reasons why the restraining order made on April 28, 2017 should not be made permanent by the court
Recently another bone of contention has surfaced before the family court on the custody of their two children.
It was gathered that Gentry arrived the courtroom by 9am and by 11:25am when the matter was called, Mercy was nowhere to be found.
Gentry therefore went into the Chief Magistrate with his lawyer and came out 18 minutes later and left the court premises. It so happened that Mercy Aigbe then appeared minutes after with her lawyer in tow.
